Russia and Central Asia have achieved good results in many areas, and there are good prospects for developing economic relations between the countries, Putin said, adding that trade between Russia and Central Asian countries exceeded $45 billion by the end of 2024.
Putin arrived in Dushanbe late Wednesday for a three-day visit. Earlier that day, he had talks with Tajikistani President Emomali Rahmon and is scheduled to meet with leaders of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
