Under the motto The Power of Partnership is in the Unity of Purpose. Export to Russia, the Forum will feature a plenary session focused on trade potential and opportunities for Indian suppliers to expand their access to the Russian market. It will be attended by heads of ministries and agencies, alongside leading companies from both countries.
Anant Goenka, President-Elect of FICCI and Vice Chairman of the RPG Group, emphasized that India and Russia have stood by each other for decades, and this trust is now opening new doors for their industries.

"With both governments working towards an ambitious trade target for 2030, this is the right moment for our businesses to step forward," he suggested.

The Forum provides an opportunity to turn long-standing goodwill into tangible results, helping Indian products reach Russian shelves and fostering a more balanced, future-ready partnership between the two economies, Goenka underlined.
Highlighting strong bilateral ties, Maxim Oreshkin, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office of Russia, noted that Indian culture and national brands are widely recognized and appreciated in Russia.
"This Forum aims to boost the entry of Indian goods into the Russian market, helping to offset the current imbalance in mutual trade," Oreshkin stated.
He added that Russian retail chains, e-commerce platforms, and engineering companies will have the opportunity to establish direct ties with Indian manufacturers and exporter.
Anton Kobyakov, Advisor to the President of Russia, said that India is one of Russia’s key partners, with mutual trade having grown nearly sevenfold over the past five years. By the end of 2024, India ranked second among Russia’s trading partners, reflecting a strengthened strategic partnership and diversified trade, including higher supplies of agricultural products and energy resource, he underscored.
"The Indian market is large, rapidly growing, and strategically important for our country. The Forum will send a clear signal that Russia is ready to purchase Indian goods and services,
" Kobyakov stressed.
The Forum will also discuss the role of banking institutions in fostering cooperation. A reliable and sustainable financial infrastructure is the foundation for growing business ties between Russia and India, Andrey Kostin, President and Chairman of the Management Board of VTB Bank, said.
"VTB Bank, celebrating 20 years of operations in India, has become a key financial partner for businesses in both countries. We will continue to expand our presence and ensure high-quality service for our clients," he asserted.
The Forum program includes panel discussions on various areas of Russian-Indian cooperation, including expanding Indian engineering products in Russia, increasing Russia’s purchases of Indian food products, digital services collaboration, pharmaceutical trade, and migration cooperation.
