"Vladimir Putin held a meeting in the Kremlin to discuss the current situation in the special military operation zone, with a focus on the situation in the north of the Donetsk People's Republic—the territory under the responsibility of the Southern Group of Forces," Peskov stated.
The meeting included the full transfer of Seversk (Donetsk Republic) to the control of the Russian Armed Forces, the presidential aide told reporters.
During the meeting, "the President generally noted good momentum in all areas," he emphasised.
Elimination of Ukrainian Forces on Eastern Bank of Oskil River Continues
"The elimination of encircled enemy groups on the eastern bank of the Oskol River and in Dimitrov continues. We see that the Kiev regime, by not allowing the Ukrainian armed forces units blocked in these areas to cease resistance and surrender, is effectively condemning them to destruction," Putin said at a meeting on the situation in the special military operation zone.
Kiev condemns its fighters encircled on the left bank of the Oskol River to destruction by preventing them from surrendering, Putin added.

"The liberation of the city of Seversk and successful offensive actions in this direction significantly bring closer a new, successful offensive in other directions and the expulsion of Ukrainian armed formations from our territory, the restoration of peaceful life in the land of Donbas," Putin said at a meeting on the situation in the special military operation zone.
