Modi and Ibrahim are scheduled to meet on Sunday. They are expected to discuss Malaysia-India relations and explore further opportunities for collaboration, particularly in trade and investment, defense and security, labor, tourism, connectivity, agriculture, and education. The discussion will also include regional and international issues of mutual interest.
India's prime minister will be accompanied by Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar and other senior government officials. Multiple memorandums are expected to be signed during their visit, covering such areas as fight against corruption, seafarer standards, disaster management, audiovisual production, labor, semiconductors, health care, national security, vocational training, UN peacekeeping, and the International Big Cats Alliance.
