Iran Eyes Russian Energy Giants for New Oil & Gas Projects: Iranian Oil Minister

Tehran is interested in Russian companies developing the country's oil and gas fields, Iranian Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad said on Wednesday.

"As for oil fields, I just have to add that we welcome all Russian companies interested in developing these fields – oil and gas – along with investments and joint work on these issues," Paknejad said after a meeting of the Russian-Iranian trade and economic commission.
The Iran-Russia intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation is underway in Tehran from February 16-18. Russin Energy Minister Sergey Tsivilev and Paknejad are co-chairing.
