Speaking at a meeting of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, he emphasized Russia’s commitment to strengthening technological collaboration.
"We plan to move forward in this direction, especially through BRICS. In February, a national committee was established within BRICS for business cooperation. I urge our colleagues from Russian business and industry to participate actively. Together, we will develop new proposals to strengthen economic ties among BRICS nations," Putin stated.
He further noted that in today’s global environment, countries and companies that invest in technological innovation are the ones achieving success in international markets.
"In today’s world, those who invest in new technologies and continuously improve their efficiency are the ones advancing," Putin added.
The President also highlighted that Russia will particularly promote the development of artificial intelligence (AI), autonomous systems, and digital platforms. Additionally, the government will support business investments in modernization based on the country’s own technological capabilities.
