The award is constituted by the Gandhi Mandela Foundation to recognize the global leaders who inspire citizens for peace, unity, and freedom.

Underlining the need for creating a peaceful world, Tibetan spiritual leader
Dalai Lama argued that spending “a lot of money on weapons” is totally wrong on Friday.
"Genuine compassion is the best weapon to defend yourself...
