India Launches 177 Foreign Satelites in Five Years

Over the past five years, the Indian government has taken significant steps in expanding the national space program.
The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has successfully launched 177 satellites from 19 countries over the past five years, the organizations reports.
In that period, ISRO's commercial divisions have launched 177 space satellites owned by Australia, the UK, Canada, the US, France, Japan and other countries. Revenue from launches amounted to about $94 million, Indian media reported on Friday.
