A video of an ambulance driver sharing an alcohol drink with the a patient has gone viral on Indian social media.The driver was captured on camera halting his vehicle at a highway and then pouring a drink both for himself and the patient, who was at that very moment lying on a stretcher inside the vehicle.A woman and a child can also be seen sitting inside the ambulance.The incident reportedly took place in the Tirtol area of Odisha state on Sunday. However, officials took action only after the video went viral on social media.Local police say no formal complaint has been lodged so far, but drunk driving is already an offence itself.

A video of an ambulance driver sharing an alcohol drink with the a patient has gone viral on Indian social media.
The driver was captured on camera halting his vehicle at a highway and then pouring a drink both for himself and the patient, who was at that very moment lying on a stretcher inside the vehicle.
What is more shocking about the whole situation is that when local confronted the driver, he allegedly claimed the patient asked for the drink himself.
A woman and a child can also be seen sitting inside the ambulance.
