All security guidelines were strictly followed and the Delhi police informed that a sufficient deployment of security personnel had been made, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) said.
Indian paramilitary force the CRPF on Thursday dismissed the Congress party's complaint about an alleged breach of Rahul Gandhi’s security during the Delhi leg of the ongoing “Bharat Jodo Yatra” ("Unite India March").
In a letter to the Home Ministry, the CRPF said it had made all the necessary security arrangements for Rahul Gandhi in coordination with the Delhi police and other law enforcement agencies.

Furthermore, the CRPF noted that the parliamentarian himself has broken security protocols on several occasions during his foot march.

Rahul Gandhi’s Security ‘Compromised’ During Bharat Jodo Yatra, Says Congress
Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has been duly notified about breaches from time to time, the CRPF added.

“For instance, since 2020, there have been 113 violations observed and duly communicated. It may further be mentioned that during the Delhi leg of 'Bharat Jodo Yatra', the protectee violated security guidelines and the CRPF will be taking up this matter separately,” the CRPF said in its letter to the Home Ministry.

The response from the CRPF came a day after Congress General Secretary K.C. Venugopal wrote to Home Minister Amit Shah alleging that the Delhi police had completely failed to ensure the security of Rahul Gandhi as the “Yatra” passed through the national capital.
The country’s main opposition party has also requested thorough security for Rahul Gandhi when the campaign enters the sensitive border region of Punjab as well as Jammu and Kashmir.
