Captain Shiva Chauhan of the Indian Army’s Fire and Fury Corps made history after becoming the first female officer to be deployed at the highest battleground on the Siachen glacier.Stationed at Kumar Post on the Siachen Glacier, Captain Chauhan had to pass vigorous training before her posting.The Indian Army's Fire and Fury Corps posted on its official Twitter handle that Captain Chauhan is "Breaking the Glass Ceiling" and setting new examples for many other female officers to achieve new heights.As part of the Fire and Fury Corps, Captain Chauhan will be guarding Siachen Glacier and the Indo-Pak border along with others.
