Since the inception of Congress' Unity March spearheaded by Rahul Gandhi in September last year, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has been fiercely critical of him.
The BJP on Saturday took a swipe at Rahul Gandhi after the former Congress president was seen making a huge blunder in a video while addressing a public rally during his ongoing Unity March.

In the viral clip, the Gandhi scion can be heard telling the crowd that the population of India is ₹1.4 billion instead of saying just 1.4 billion.

The BJP's Shehzad Poonawala posted the footage on Twitter, highlighting the Congress parliamentarian's latest gaffe before reminding him of his previous such errors.
The BJP's latest dig at the 52-year-old politician comes at a time when Congress' largest mass campaign since independence is traversing through Uttar Pradesh, a state run by India's federally governing party.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's party has even dubbed Gandhi's march meant to unify Indians as "Bharat Todo Yatra" - a campaign to "break" the country, rather than unify it.

Congress, on the other hand, has alleged that the BJP is scared by the support Gandhi is getting from the masses and that this is the main reason behind its constant mockery of their former leader.
