Joy quickly turned to sorrow during this year's Mylar festival at Mandiyamman temple in India's Tamil Nadu when a crane suddenly fell on the devotees on Sunday, leaving at least four dead and nine injured.A video of the incident is doing the rounds on the internet which shows scores of devotees gathered around the crane carrying the idol of a deity, and about eight individuals on the top of the crane accepting garlands from worshippers.Suddenly, the crane topples over, triggering panic and commotion, as people start running away and screaming for help. The police told local media that nine people - including a young girl who was critically injured in the accident - are undergoing treatment at nearby hospitals. The crane operator has been taken into custody. Further investigation is on to determine what exactly led to the accident.
