Music and celebrations kicked off at the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) - Madras Research Park in Tamil Nadu's capital of Chennai to welcome foreign delegates arriving for the 1st G20 Education Working Group Meeting (EdWG). Delegates were given a warm reception that showcased a glimpse of Tamil Nadu's traditional musical instruments, played in great rhythm and symphony.The G20 Education Working Group Meeting has created a lot of buzz among G20 member countries, as they come together under one roof to highlight their best practices in the field of digital technology for school, higher education and skill development.As a precursor to the two-day conference, a seminar on the "Role of Digital Technology in Education" - a unique initiative under India’s Presidency, will be held on Tuesday at the IIT Madras Research Park. In the two-day seminar, delegates will visit three Centres of Excellence - the Heritage Center, the Center for Innovation, and the Brain Center at IIT Madras and an exhibition has also been organized to display key digital education initiatives and enable digital technologies.

Music and celebrations kicked off at the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) - Madras Research Park in Tamil Nadu's capital of Chennai to welcome foreign delegates arriving for the 1st G20 Education Working Group Meeting (EdWG).
Delegates were given a warm reception that showcased a glimpse of Tamil Nadu's traditional musical instruments, played in great rhythm and symphony.
