Asaduddin Owaisi's home was vandalized by a Hindu group in September 2021, and in February last year, unknown assailants fired a few rounds of bullet at his vehicle.
Some unknown miscreants pelted stones at the Delhi residence of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief and prominent Muslim leader Asaduddin Owaisi, damaging its windows, the parliamentarian shared on his Twitter on Monday.
The incident occurred on Sunday at his residence located in the Ashoka Road area of the city at around 5.30 p.m. (IST).
Sharing footage of his vandalized home, Owaisi, a parliamentarian from Hyderabad, claimed that this is the fourth attack at his residence since 2014, demanding Delhi Police immediately catch the miscreants.
The incident allegedly took place while Owaisi was on a two-day visit to Rajasthan, where he kicked off his party’s campaign for the upcoming state assembly polls scheduled to be held later this year.
“I reached my residence at 11:30 p.m. (IST). Upon returning I found the glass of the windows broken and stones/rocks lying around. My domestic help informed that a group of miscreants threw stones at around at the residence around 5:30 p.m. (IST),” the Muslim leader wrote in the police complaint.

“This is the fourth time such an attack has taken place. The area surrounding my house has enough CCTV cameras, and the same may be accessed, and the culprits should be apprehended immediately. It is conceived that such acts of vandalism are happening in such a high-security zone,” he further wrote.

Following information, a team of Delhi police led by an Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) visited his residence and collected evidence from the site.
Police are probing the incident and any arrest in the incident is yet to be made.
