A couple and their three children including a two-year-old toddler were killed when a fire broke out in their hut in Haramau village in India’s Uttar Pradesh in the early hours of Sunday, police said.The deceased have been identified as Satish, his wife, their sons Sunny, Sandeep and daughter Gudia.Satish was aged 27 and worked as a laborer and his wife was 24 years old. Their sons – Sunny and Sandeep – were seven and four respectively.According to media reports, Satish's mother also sustained serious burns while she was trying to save them. She was rushed to the hospital for treatment.As soon as the police received the information about the fire, the District Magistrate, Superintendent of Police and others reached the spot.The local residents also tried to extinguish the fire and firemen also rushed to the spot but the family couldn’t be saved.
