‘Visit of Friendship’: China's President Xi to Meet Vladimir Putin on March 20

The Kremlin announced that the Chinese President will pay a state visit to Moscow from March 20-22 at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The Russian and Chinese leaders will discuss topical issues of further development of comprehensive partnership and strategic interaction between Russia and China.
A number of important bilateral documents will be signed following the talks.

Putin and Xi to Hold One-on-One Talks

According to the Kremlin, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping are expected to hold a one-on-one conversation over an informal lunch.

Beijing has noted that Xi's visit will be of a peaceful nature, the sides will practice true multilateralism based on the principles of non-alignment and non-targeting of third parties.

At the same time, will be a visit of friendship that will further strengthen mutual trust and understanding between the countries, China's foreign ministry added.
Echoing him, Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov noted that personal contacts between the Russian President and Xi are of trusting nature, in total, the leaders met about 40 times.
China will adhere to an objective position on Ukraine and play a constructive role in advancing negotiations between Moscow and Kievm the ministry's spokesman Wang Wenbin said on Friday.
