About 50 member-states of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group, also known as the Ramstein group, have been participating in the military conflict in Ukraine on the side of the Kiev regime and Ukrainian servicemen have been actively training in NATO member states, Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev told his SCO NSA counterparts in New Delhi.The SCO meeting is chaired by Indian National Security Adviser Ajit Kumar Doval. The event's agenda focuses on global security issues, the developments in Afghanistan and the consultations on Russia's proposals for the Eurasian economic bloc.On US Biolabs Near Russian BorderNot only Ukraine has turned into a testing ground for US biological weapons, Washington is also eyeing Georgia, Moldova and some SCO states for that purpose, Patrushev said.Last week, the Commission on the biological program in Ukraine has come to the conclusion that the United States is ready to produce and use biological weapons outside its territory. The Commission comes to the conclusion that by their actions in the field of global biological security, the United States violates almost all the fundamental provisions of the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production and Stockpiling of Bacteriological (Biological) and Toxin Weapons and on their Destruction," Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council (upper chamber of the Russian parliament) Konstantin Kosachev said.On Situation in AfghanistanAny possible return of US and NATO military assets to Afghanistan 🇦🇫 is absolutely unacceptable, Patrushev said on Wednesday.Speaking at the 5th Moscow Format Consultations on Afghanistan in February, Patrushev pointed to the fact that the alarming security situation in Afghanistan is being fueled by weapons left behind by US forces during their hasty withdrawal from the country in August 2021. About 50 member-states of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group, also known as the Ramstein group, have been participating in the military conflict in Ukraine on the side of the Kiev regime and Ukrainian servicemen have been actively training in NATO member states, Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev told his SCO NSA counterparts in New Delhi.
Patrushev said that it was important for the SCO member states to preserve its customs and traditions, to uphold universal human values, prevent foreign interference into the internal affairs of sovereign states and counter the policy of unilateral sanctions and restrictive measures.
The SCO meeting is chaired by Indian National Security Adviser Ajit Kumar Doval. The event's agenda focuses on global security issues, the developments in Afghanistan and the consultations on Russia's proposals for the Eurasian economic bloc.
