Mumbai police have busted a minor who allegedly made a threatening call to Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.On Monday night, a man, identified as ‘Roki Bhai’ from Rajasthan state’s Jodhpur city and claimed to be a cow vigilante, called up the Mumbai Police control room, threatening to assassiante Khan on 30 April.Frightened by growing threats, Khan has bought a bullet-proof SUV imported, touted to be the most popular and expensive vehicle in the South Asia market, to protect himself and his family. Gangsters on the Loose Last month, Mumbai Police arrested a 21-year-old man Dhakad Ram Bishnoi from Rajasthan's Jodhpur city for allegedly sending a threatening email to Salman Khan's office, saying he will end up like Sidhu Moose Wala, a prominent Punjabi singer who was assassinated in May last year.On 5 June 2022, Khan's father Salim Khan received a threatening letter that similarly claimed he and his son would be assassinated soon.In October last year, the Delhi Police's Special Cell arrested a juvenile who disclosed that in 2021, Lawrence Bishnoi had tasked him and other members of his gang to murder Khan. Later however, a gangster named Rana Kandowalia was made their primary target instead of the actor. Kandowalia was eventually shot dead at a private hospital in Amritsar city of Punjab on 4 August last year.
