Bangladesh is open to purchasing Russian crude if it's offered at an affordable price, the nation's PM Sheikh Hasina told reportes on Wednesday.
When it is available and at an affordable price, of course, we will buy it. Why not?" Hasina said at the Qatar Economic Forum in Doha on Wednesday, in response to a question about whether Dhaka was open to such a possibility.
She also added that Bangladesh is committed to maintaining friendly relations with all countries and does not take sides in conflicts between nations.
"We are developing our country, meeting our people's needs, and improving their lives," Hasina said.
