The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to launch a month-long campaign in Delhi to spread public awareness about the work done by the Central Government over the last nine years, media reported on Thursday. The outreach programme will reportedly begin on 30 May, including big and small public meetings. According to the reports, External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar and former Gujarat state chief Vijay Rupani have been appointed as observers of the outreach programme. The BJP's Delhi unit has seen many changes in the past months, with the state chief and other functionaries removed from their positions. The spokesperson stated that the campaign wouldn't be like the BJP vs Delhi-governing party AAP, rather they will focus on what the BJP and its parliamentarians have done for Delhi in the past nine years. Although the BJP has secured all seven seats in parliamentarian constituencies the past two times consecutively, an internal party survey has hinted that the BJP might not be able to win all seven seats this time. Hence, the party started has to focus on Delhi in advance.Soon after the general election, Delhi's election is scheduled for 2025.

India is set to witness its next national election in 2024. With less than a year to go, political parties are churning out their strategies for a better reach among the public.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to launch a month-long campaign in Delhi to spread public awareness about the work done by the Central Government over the last nine years, media reported on Thursday.
The outreach programme will reportedly begin on 30 May, including big and small public meetings.
According to the reports, External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar and former Gujarat state chief Vijay Rupani have been appointed as observers of the outreach programme.
"As the marquee event of G20 will be held in Delhi this September, the Foreign Affairs minister will be the best person to explain to the people what the BJP is doing in the national capital", one Delhi BJP spokesperson told Sputnik on condition of anonymity.
The BJP's Delhi unit has seen many changes in the past months, with the state chief and other functionaries removed from their positions.
The spokesperson stated that the campaign wouldn't be like the BJP vs Delhi-governing party AAP, rather they will focus on what the BJP and its parliamentarians have done for Delhi in the past nine years.
