Pakistani Drone Carrying Narcotics Shot Down in Punjab
A day before this, the BSF and Punjab Police seized 2.5kg of narcotics that were suspected to be dropped by a drone in Punjab's Fazilka sector. Two suspects associated with it were caught.
The BSF guards more than 500km of border shared by India's Punjab state and Pakistan. Drones and unmanned aerial vehicles regularly fly over from the neighboring country into India carrying drugs and ammunition, causing major problems for security agencies over the past three or four years.
