Fifteen Russian tourists who got stranded in Himachal Pradesh's Kasol hill station amid heavy rainfall and landslide, are all safe, the Russian embassy in India confirmed to Sputnik on Wednesday.The tourists have been accommodated at a local hotel and provided food.After receiving information from the Russian embassy, the acting Director General of Police (DGP) of Himachal Pradesh, Satwant Atwal Trivedi, told Indian media that they had deployed their forces everywhere in the state for search and rescue operations.Several tourists were stranded in parts of Himachal Pradesh, with the loss of infrastructure estimated at between INR3 - 4 Billion ($36.45 million - $48.61 million)Meanwhile, Himachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri assured people that all necessary assistance would be provided to them soon and also appealed to the central government for help.The search and rescue team is visiting different areas of Himachal to review the situation.

The incessant rains for a fourth consecutive day have wreaked havoc in Himachal Pradesh, claiming the lives of 20 people over the past 48 hours. Landslides and floods have caused destruction of roads, houses and vehicles being swept away by the gushing waters.

Sputnik on Wednesday.
The tourists have been accommodated at a local hotel and provided food.
After receiving information from the Russian embassy, the acting Director General of Police (DGP) of Himachal Pradesh, Satwant Atwal Trivedi, told Indian media that they had deployed their forces everywhere in the state for search and rescue operations.
"We've set up four lines and trying to contact people across the country to inform them about their families. 200 people have been contacted since morning and their family has been informed about their well-being. We are also contacting the embassies," Trivedi said.
