The Chandrayaan-3 is scheduled to reach lunar orbit on August 3 and will attempt a soft landing on the Moon on August 23.
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) announced on Monday that the second orbit-raising maneuver of Chandrayaan-3 has been performed successfully.
The ISRO took to Twitter and shared that the spacecraft is currently positioned in an orbit of 41603 km x 226 km, and the next maneuver test is planned for Tuesday between 2 and 3 pm IST.

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) tweets about the success of the second orbit-raising manoeuvre of Chandrayaan-3.
On Friday, the ISRO achieved a big feat with the successful launch of Chandrayaan-3 from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota spaceport of India's Andhra Pradesh state.
Within nine minutes after the takeoff, the rocket entered the vacuum of space and on Sunday, the first orbit-raising maneuver of the spacecraft was performed successfully.
To reach the exact altitude needed to break free from Earth's gravitational force and begin its voyage toward the Moon, the Indian space agency is set to execute three more Earth-Bound Manoeuvers.
This third lunar mission onboard India's heaviest Launch Vehicle Mark-3 aims to land a state-of-the-art rover, an indigenous lander, and a propulsion module to conduct experiments on the Moon's surface.
If successful, this landing would make India the fourth country to achieve this feat, following the United States, Russia, and China.
