“The commanders didn’t say a peep“: Ukrainian officers do not tell the soldiers anything about the so-called counteroffensive, they learn about it from TikTok, one of the captured Ukrainian soldiers told Sputnik.
“Our commanders told us nothing. Some of my comrades-in-arms claimed the counteroffensive has already begun, while others said the opposite,” Yaroslav Mironyuk, one of the captured servicemen, said, adding that “only TV and TikTok had reported about the counteroffensive.”
According to Russia's Ministry of Defense, the Ukraine Armed Forces have lost more than 43,000 soldiers since the start of the so-called counteroffensive.
