Vande Mataram

'Vande Mataram', which means "I praise you, Motherland", is not just a title of a song, it is a slogan, and India's national song, written by Indian novelist and poet Bankim Chandra Chatterjee in 1875 for his patriotic novel ‘Anandamath’.
Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore performed the original composition in Sanskrit and Bengali for the first time in 1896, during a session of the Indian National Congress.
Since then, it has become a popular slogan for the Indian freedom movement and political activism.
In 1909, the song was translated and published in English by Indian philosopher and nationalist Aurobindo Ghosh.
Several top singers such as India's late nightingale Lata Mangeshkar, K. S. Chithra and others have recorded renditions of the song.

Maa Tujhe Salaam

The beautiful melody 'Maa Tujhe Salaam' (Mother I Salute You), composed and performed by the Oscar-winning music composer A. R. Rahman, serves as a heartfelt tribute to our beloved motherland, encapsulating feelings of love, pride, and gratitude towards India.

'Teri Mitti'

One of the most soul-stirring patriotic songs, 'Teri Mitti' (your soil), sung by B. Praak and Arko Pravo Mukherjee, will give you goosebumps and leave your eyes in tears.
The masterpiece is from the 2019 Bollywood movie 'Kesari' and expresses the thoughts of the dying soldiers who fought the 'Battle of Saragarhi' till the end in 1897.

'Rang De Basanti'

Indian Mozart AR Rahman’s other composition 'Rang De Basanti' title track from the movie by the same name is a foot-tapping patriotic number that will leave netizens grooving to the beats of dhol and evoke a feeling of patriotism.
Sung by Daler Mehndi and K S Chitra, the song 'Rang De Basanti' (Paint me Saffron) gives a patriotic message to the new generation and makes them aware of the sacrifices made by Indian freedom fighters.

Ae Mere Watan ke Logon

Sung by Indian nightingale Lata Mangeshkar, the song ‘Ae Mere Watan ke Logon’ (O' people of my country) pay homage to the Indian soldiers who were martyred during the Sino-Indian War in 1962.
The song was written by legendary poet and lyricist Kavi Pradeep and was composed by C.Ramchandra.

Chak De! India

The electrifying title track from the film 'Chak De! India’ (Let's go! India), sung by Sukhwinder Singh, instills hearts with a profound sense of patriotism and pride for the country and a desire to do something for the nation and make it proud.

'Ae Watan'

This song from the movie 'Raazi' (2018), captures the essence of patriotism and the courage of Indian soldiers.
Sung by Arijit Singh, 'Ae Watan' is a tribute to all those who defend our country and is the perfect song to stir the patriotic spirit in all of us.

'Saare Jahan Se Achha'

Based on the poem by Mohammad Iqbal, the song 'Saare Jahan Se Achha, Hindustan Humara' (Better than the entire world, is our Hindustan) has been sung by several artists and expresses love and pride for the country and its diverse culture.
