International military-technical forum Army-2023 is underway. It is taking place in Russia's Moscow region from 14-20 August.
The Russian Defense Ministry said on Wednesday it had signed and handed over a number of government contracts worth over $41.5 million to defense industry corporations at the Army-2023 international military-technical forum.
"Eleven government contracts were signed and nine were handed over today, worth a total of more than 400 billion rubles," Lt. Gen. Anatoly Gulyaev, who heads the ministry's main armaments directorate of the Russian armed forces, said.
At the ongoing forum, Russia has already presented the Ukrainian and Western weapons and military equipments, captured during special military operation, .
The West has tried to defeat Russia on its launched proxy war against Russia by supplying Kiev with military equipment, but the Russian shelf of the trophy is being replenished, as its soldiers show professionalism and courage. Its military equipment is superior to Western equipment.
Moreover, around 1,500 defense industry companies are expected to present their production.
