A meeting of floor leaders of I.N.D.I.A bloc leaders was held at Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge’s residence in New Delhi where issues to be taken up during the Special Session of Parliament starting from September 18 were finalised.
Congress Parliamentary Party (CPP) chairwoman Sonia Gandhi on Wednesday wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking agenda of the Special Session of the Parliament called by the government.
In her letter, Gandhi said: “I must point out that this special session has been convened without any consultation with other political parties. None of us have any idea of its agenda. All we have been communicated is that all five days have been allocated for government business.”
Former Congress chief, however, stated that opposition will definitely participate in the upcoming session to raise public concerns.
