The US plans to continue to support Ukraine in a state of war and lead it to the last Ukrainian will not be able to affect the course of the special military operation, the Kremlin said on Wednesday.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov was commenting on an unannounced visit of US Secretary of State Antony Blinken to Kiev. He added the US was planning to keep following the plan regardless of the cost.

"We have repeatedly heard statements that they [Americans] intend to continue to help Kiev as much as necessary. In other words, they are going to continue to support Ukraine in a de facto state of war and wage this war to the last Ukrainian, sparing no money for it," Peskov told reporters, adding that this assistance will not affect the military operation.

Earlier, Reuters reported that Blinken had arrived in Kiev for a two-day visit, as US officials want to discuss the Kiev regime's so-called "counteroffensive" and assess measures to improvise energy security.
According to Reuters, a senior US State Department official told reporters on condition of anonymity that the United States would like to discuss how Kiev’s offensive is going, and assess steps that might be necessary to improve Ukraine’s energy security before winter.
