Putin Addresses Russians on Occasion of Donbass’ 1943 Liberation From Nazis

Russia celebrates the 80th anniversary of Donbass’ liberation from Nazi occupation.
On this occasion, Vladimir Putin congratulated the residents of the Donetsk People’s Republic and all citizens of Russia.

"The example set by the Red Army soldiers who fought in the Great Patriotic War has been carried on by the Donbass militia guardsmen, who amplified that courage in the ongoing, new battle with [neo-]Nazism, which began nine years ago," the president noted.
