The United Nations is very concerned by the US decision to deliver cluster munitions to Ukraine, UN Under-Secretary-General and High Representative for Disarmament Affairs Izumi Nakamitsu said on Tuesday.
“Reports related to the transport and use of cluster munitions throughout the war, are also very concerning. The Secretary General has repeatedly called for an immediate end to the use of cluster munitions, in line with his long -standing position. These weapons must be consigned to history,” Nakamitzu said during a UN Security Council meeting on Ukraine.
