India have finished fourth in recent years.Cricket: India beat Bangladesh by 8 wickets to reach the final.Some 655 Indian athletes are taking part in the Asian Games. The country is vying for top honours in 39 sports, including individual and team events. While 'Aab ki Baar, Sau Paar' (which translates as 'Over 100 medals this time') is India's slogan, it also means that the Indian contingent is aiming for a haul of 100 medals at the quadrennial event in China.India have never won so many medals in any international competition, let alone the Asiad. At the last edition of the Asian Games in Jakarta, India won 70 medals, including 16 yellow metals. This was India's highest medal haul in the history of the Asian Games.
