An attempt by Ukraine to carry out a terrorist attack on targets in Russia's Belgorod Region using nine rockets from the Uragan multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) was prevented, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Saturday.
“Early on September 30... an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack on targets on the territory of the Russian Federation using nine rockets of the Uragan MLRS was stopped. Air defense systems on duty destroyed all nine rockets in the air over the Belgorod Region,” the ministry said in a statement.

Ukrainian Troops Shelled DPR Territory 10 Times in 24 Hours
The Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) was shelled by Ukrainian troops 10 times over the past day, the DPR representative office in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) of issues related to Ukraine's war crimes said in a statement.
"Over the past 24 hours, the office reported 10 cases of fire by Ukrainian armed units," the office said.
It said 36 rounds of various ammunition were fired by Ukraine.
A total of 16 shelling attacks by Ukrainian troops were registered in the previous day.
