The Russian Ambassador to Pakistan, H.E. Danila V. Ganich, paid a visit to the Minister of Commerce, Dr. Gohar Ejaz, at the Commerce Ministry on Thursday, the meeting focused on discussions related to increase in the bilateral trade between the two nations.According to the ministry's press release both sides confirmed their commitment to fostering stronger cooperation with the aim of increasing the volume of bilateral trade. This commitment reflects the shared interest in enhancing economic partnership between Pakistan and Russia.During the meeting the commerce minister welcomed the positive dynamic in bilateral trade and reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to improving the robust economic cooperation with Russia.The meeting marks another step towards realizing the full potential of trade ties between the two countries.While this meeting was taking place in Islamabad, Pakistani Energy Minister Muhammad Ali was attending Russian Energy Week in Moscow.During the event, the minister highlighted his government's interest in increasing the purchase of Russian oil. He said that Pakistan expects that Russia will cover 10% of the country's oil demand in the future.

The Russian Ambassador to Pakistan and the country's Commerce Minister met on Thursday in Islamabad to foster stronger trade cooperation and economic partnership.
The Russian Ambassador to Pakistan, H.E. Danila V. Ganich, paid a visit to the Minister of Commerce, Dr. Gohar Ejaz, at the Commerce Ministry on Thursday, the meeting focused on discussions related to increase in the
bilateral trade between the two nations.
According to the ministry's press release both sides confirmed their commitment to fostering stronger
cooperation with the aim of increasing the volume of bilateral trade. This commitment reflects the shared interest in enhancing
economic partnership between Pakistan and Russia.
During the meeting the commerce minister welcomed the positive dynamic in bilateral trade and reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to improving the robust economic
cooperation with Russia.
The meeting marks another step towards realizing the full potential of trade ties between the two countries.
"Our discussions today have set the stage for a brighter economic partnership with Russia. We look forward to expanding trade, opening up new avenues for cooperation, and further strengthening the longstanding bonds of friendship between our two countries," Dr. Gohar Ijaz remarked during his meeting with H.E. Danila V. Ganich.
While this meeting was taking place in Islamabad, Pakistani Energy Minister Muhammad Ali was attending
