Palestinians Deserve 'Nation of Their Own,' US Must Respect Permanent Borders: Ex-Senator
The United States should support permanent borders of Palestine and allow Palestinians to have their own nation, former Virginia State Senator Richard Black told Sputnik.

"The US should support precisely defined, permanent borders for Palestine. Suffocating sanctions and blockades should be lifted, so that healing and rebuilding can take place once the destruction of Gaza has ended," Black said. "We cannot go on pretending that Palestinians will simply disappear from the Earth; they must have a nation of their own."

Black believes that the United States has lost its power and prestige because of the unnecessary war in Ukraine and the violence in Gaza.
