On 7 October, Hamas launched a surprise attack on Israel, prompting Israel to declare a state of war. As per reports, the escalation of the conflict has resulted in the deaths of around 1,400 people in Israel and over 10,000 in the Gaza Strip.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said Wednesday that it has received 106 trucks loaded with aid for the Gaza Strip through the Rafah border crossing from the Egyptian Red Crescent.
"PRCS teams received today 106 trucks from the Egyptian Red Crescent, loaded with aid, in addition to five ambulance vehicles from Kuwait, through the Rafah crossing," PRCS said on X (formerly known as Twitter).
PRCS added that the aid includes food, water, relief assistance, medical supplies and medicines.
PRCS also said it has received as many as 756 trucks with aid since 21 October, or approximately 39 trucks per day, but added that the entry of fuel to the Gaza Strip has yet to be allowed by Israel.
On October 7, Hamas launched a surprise large-scale rocket attack against Israel from the Gaza Strip and breached the border, killing and abducting people in neighboring Israeli communities. Israel launched retaliatory strikes and ordered a complete blockade of the Gaza Strip, home to more than 2 million people, cutting off supplies of water, food, and fuel. On October 27, Israel launched a large-scale ground incursion inside the Gaza Strip with the declared goal of eliminating Hamas fighters and rescuing the hostages.
Six People Killed in Clashes Between Palestinians, IDF in West Bank’s Jenin - Reports
Clashes between Palestinians and Israeli forces in Jenin in the West Bank on Thursday killed six people and injured six more, the Palestinian WAFA news agency reported.
All victims died of gunshots, according to WAFA. The Israeli military is reportedly conducted its second raid in Jenin on Thursday using military equipment and drones.

Palestinian Interior Ministry Says 12 People Killed in Israeli Shelling in Central Gaza
At least 12 people have been killed, with dozens more injured as a result of Israeli shelling of a building in the city of Deir al Balah in the central part of the Gaza Strip, the Palestinian Interior Ministry said on Thursday.
"As many as 12 people have been killed and dozens more have been injured as a result of shelling of a building by occupation [Israel's] jets … in Deir al Balah in the central part of the Gaza Strip," the ministry said.

Military Wing of Hamas Says Shelled Israel’s Raim Military Base
The military wing of Palestinian movement Hamas, Al Qassam Brigades, said on Thursday that it targeted Israel’s Raim military base and Ashdod with rockets.
“Al Qassam Brigades report rocket attacks on occupied Ashdod in response to attacks against civilians … report a missile strike on the Raim military base,” the military wing said in a statement.

Turkey, Israel Agree on Transfer of Children With Cancer From Gaza to Turkey - Minister
Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said on Thursday that he has agreed with his Israeli counterpart on the transfer of children with cancer from the Gaza Strip to Turkey.
“I held talks with the Israeli minister of health. I expressed my opinion that children are a very sensitive issue and there is nothing to deny in this situation. He also said that we are right. We agreed on the safe transfer of patients to Turkey. We will start transporting children with cancer to Turkey as soon as possible,” Koca said, as quoted by the Turkiye newspaper.
