India and Bangladesh have developed into a model relationship over the past decade, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar stated.
India-Bangladesh relations stand out as a 'model relationship' in the Indian subcontinent in terms of the benefits of regional cooperation, Indian foreign minister S Jaishankar said on Thursday, highlighting the progress made in bilateral ties over the past decade.
Jaishankar was responding to a question from Saida Muna Tasneem, Bangladesh's High Commissioner to the UK, at a Royal Overseas League event on Wednesday evening.
"Today, our relationship stands out in the Indian subcontinent as a model relationship in terms of the benefits of regional cooperation," he declared.
