378 Israeli Soldiers Killed Since Start of Gaza Conflict, IDF States

The Israel-Hamas conflict has resulted in the deaths of around 1,200 people in Israel and over 12,000 in the Gaza Strip.
The number of Israeli soldiers killed in the escalation of conflict with Palestinian movement Hamas since October 7 has reached 378, Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson RDML Daniel Hagari said on Saturday.

"To date, we have notified the families of 378 fallen IDF soldiers who fell defending the State of Israel. We embrace the families during these difficult times," Hagari told a briefing.

Some 1,100 Hamas-Affiliated Palestinians Arrested in West Bank Since October 7: IDF
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has arrested some 1,800 wanted Palestinians in the West Bank since October 7, including about 1,100 linked to Hamas, the IDF said on Sunday.

"To date, since the start of the war [October 7], divisions in the West Bank have arrested some 1,800 wanted persons, of whom about 1,100 are linked to the Hamas terrorist organization," the IDF said in a statement.

During the night alone, 38 wanted Palestinians were arrested in the West Bank, the statement read. Some 20 Palestinians were arrested in overnight raids in the Jenin and Balata refugee camps, the IDF said, adding that explosives caches were uncovered, as well as an explosives laboratory and four observation posts.
Last week, the IDF announced that since October 7, Israeli security forces had arrested more than 1,540 wanted Palestinians in the West Bank, including more than 930 individuals associated with Hamas.

Israel’s state security cabinet voted on Sunday to allow a limited entry of fuel into the Gaza Strip, Israeli media reported.
The majority of the panel’s members supported the proposal put forward by a smaller war cabinet, comprised of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and War Cabinet Minister Benny Gantz, media reported. The ministers of national security, finance and transport voted against.

IDF Says Intercepted 'Suspicious' Aerial Object From Lebanon, Retaliates Fire
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on Sunday it intercepted a "suspicious" aerial target that crossed from Lebanon, adding that it was firing back.
"Following the report regarding sirens that sounded in northern Israel, a suspicious aerial target that crossed from Lebanon was successfully intercepted by the IDF Aerial Defense Array. The IDF is responding with fire toward Lebanon," the IDF said on Telegram.
Earlier on Sunday, IDF said that about a dozen mortar shells had been fired at the Israeli town of Shlomi and it was carrying out strikes at the source of the launches in Lebanon.

Tens of thousands of people have participated in mass rallies in the Australian cities of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane calling for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, media reported on Sunday.
A pro-Palestinian demonstration has taken place for the sixth consecutive week at Parliament House in Melbourne, Australian broadcaster ABC reported. Protesters chanted slogans blaming the government for a pro-Israeli stance, the report read. John Shipton, Julian Assange's father, also attended the rally, the broadcaster added.

Israel Retaliates Fire After Mortar Shells Fired at Border Town From Lebanon: IDF
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on Sunday that about a dozen mortar shells had been fired at the Israeli town of Shlomi and it was carrying out strikes at the source of the launches in Lebanon.
"A short while ago, approximately 10 mortar shell launches toward the area of Shlomi in northern Israel were identified. The launches fell in an open area. The IDF is responding with strikes toward the source of the launches in Lebanese territory," the IDF said on Telegram.
"In addition, a short while ago, IDF fighter jets struck Hezbollah terror infrastructure in Lebanon," it added.

Doctors Without Borders’ Convoy Attacked in Gaza, One Person Killed
Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF), which translates as Doctors Without Borders, said on Saturday that one person was killed and another one was injured in an attack on the organization's convoy in the Gaza Strip.
"One person was killed and one was injured in an attack today on a convoy of Doctors Without Borders/Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) staff members and their families who had been attempting to evacuate from northern Gaza," the MSF said in a statement, adding that the convoy included 137 people, including 65 children.
