India's Free Trade Agreement Prospects Brighten

Free trade agreements (FTAs) are considered one of the foundations of economic prosperity for export-oriented countries. As India's Indigenisation is underway, Sputnik India has prepared an infographic on Delhi's FTAs.
India is actively engaged in negotiating Free Trade Agreements with several parties, both bilaterally and regionally.
India has already concluded several FTAs with regional organisations and some countries. Such FTAs include:
India-ASEAN TIG - Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam;
South Asia Free Trade Agreement (SAFTA) - Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka;
India-Sri Lanka Free Trade Agreement (ISLFTA).
