The three-day International Camel Festival kicked off with much excitement in the city of Bikaner in the Indian state of Rajasthan, showcasing its rich cultural heritage and majestic beauty.
Decked out camels, sporting in colourful clothes and ornaments have attracted tourists from all over the world to the International Camel Festival in Bikaner, Rajasthan.
The three-day extravaganza includes heritage walks through the royal city of Rajasthan, camel races, camel beauty pageants and traditional folk performances.

Videos of the first day of the festival are making the rounds online, showing tourists immersed in the celebration of folk culture.
The festivities kicked off at Rampuriya Haveli, where beautifully decorated camels, vibrant women's costumes and talented folk artists converged to participate in the Heritage Walk.
Local folk artists presented a captivating blend of traditional folk songs, ram mat melodies and dances, offering a vibrant insight into the rich local culture.
