Imran Khan Suspects London Plot After His Party Loses 'Bat' Symbol
15:43 16.01.2024 (Updated: 16:19 16.01.2024) Following his removal of the "bat" symbol, former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan slammed Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif, accusing him of using "umpires of choice" who rendered a "no ball" decision.
In an unofficial interview with reporters in Adiala Jail, Khan said that the "London Plan" was the reason for his imprisonment and that attempts were made to dismantle his party as part of the "covert agreement".
Notably, according to media reports, the PTI founder has adamantly alleged that he was put behind bars to crush his party and that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif would receive a clean sheet. This "agreement" was reportedly signed in London.
"The day before yesterday, an umpire gave a no-ball", he stated.
Regarding the execution of the purported scheme, the
imprisoned former prime minister declared that "all the cases against Sharif have been ended".
"PML-N supremo, his daughter Maryam Nawaz, and Pakistan Peoples' Party co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari had obtained bulletproof vehicles from the Toshakhana", Khan stated, adding that "nobody was ready to hold them accountable for it".
In addition, the PTI founder foresaw that something
"very bad is going to happen to them". In order to inform the public of the facts, he also urged that the Cypher Case be tried in public.
