Varanasi Artisan Crafted Ram Temple's Replica With Gold, Silver, Diamonds
A national award-winning artisan from Uttar Pradesh state's Varanasi city has meticulously created a replica of the Ram Temple using gold, silver, and diamonds in just 108 days.
Kunj Bihari, a master craftsman from Gai Ghat in Varanasi, has gained widespread attention for crafting the first-ever Gulabi Meenakari replica of the Ram Temple using gold, silver and diamonds.
It took 108 days for Kunj to craft this master art which features gold, nearly one and a half kilograms of silver, and an uncut diamond placed on the spire.
The biggest highlight of the
Ram Temple replica is a
golden idol of Lord Ram's childhood form.
The replica of the temple, which weighs approximately 2.5 kilograms, measuring 12 inches in height, eight inches in width, and 12 inches in length, consists of 108 parts.
Kunj told Indian media that Gulabi Meenakari has gained international recognition owing to the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh state Chief Yogi Adityanath. He now wishes to hand over the replica to the Ram Temple through them.
According to Kunj, the project was successful because it received divine blessings from Lord Ram.
In the past, despite numerous attempts to construct the Shri Ram Temple using Gulabi Meenakari, it failed to materialize.
However, once the work began and the devotees invoked Lord Shri Ram's name, and played his devotional songs, the temple slowly took shape through the art of Gulabi Meenakari, he said.
