Nepal, whose population is over 80% Hindu, is enthusiastically waiting for the consecration ceremony of a Ram temple in Ayodhya of India on 22 January, reports said.Per the reports, Nepalis, mainly from Madhesh province, are preparing to celebrate the occasion with huge fanfare.The town, which has been a symbol of the ancient bond shared by the two neighbours, is situated 220 km southeast of Kathmandu and about 500 km east of Ayodhya in India.Religious programmes such as Ganga Aarti, Ramkatha, and processions are planned for the occasion, reports, citing the authorities, said.Apart from this, a cleanliness drive has been launched in the region to prepare for the occasion, the reports added

Nepal, whose population is over 80% Hindu, is enthusiastically waiting for the consecration ceremony of a Ram temple in Ayodhya of India on 22 January, reports said.
Per the reports, Nepalis, mainly from Madhesh province, are preparing to celebrate the occasion with huge fanfare.
In Janakpur of Nepal, a town which is believed to be the birthplace of Lord Ram’s wife Seeta, also known as Janaki, is busy preparing itself to join the celebrations by organizing multiple cultural and religious festivities.
The town, which has been a symbol of the ancient bond shared by the two neighbours, is situated 220 km southeast of
Kathmandu and about 500 km east of
Ayodhya in India.
Religious programmes such as Ganga Aarti, Ramkatha, and processions are planned for the occasion, reports, citing the authorities, said.
“It is a moment of great pride and joy. We all are enthusiastically waiting for the event", Vijaya Jhunjhunwala, president of the Hotel Association of Nepal (HAN), was quoted as saying.
