13:29 22.01.2024 (Updated: 19:34 22.01.2024) Former PM of Pakistan and the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, who is currently facing several charges including unlawful marriage, has posted a video on his official X (formerly Twitter) handle during the International Virtual Convention.
In the video, AI-generated voice of Khan addressed the "brutal assault on the people of Gaza" and the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, stating that "the world is heading towards a grave international crisis".
"Pakistan is also embroiled in internal conflict never seen before in country's history, Khan claims, adding that the 'the entire state machinery is bending the law and constitution of Pakistan just to keep me and my party [PTI] out of the electoral process," he added.
Khan finalized his statement asking people of Pakistan to "speak out against the present massacre of democracy and rule of law being carried out in Pakistan".
