Given that the collective West is losing in the proxy conflict in Ukraine, the chances of NATO and its allies plotting provocations to tarnish Russia are very high, Russian intelligence chief Sergey Naryshkin said.
"I would like to point out that the impact of such provocations and their duration is very short-lived, especially since [today], any secret information, including lies, becomes evident very quickly," Naryshkin said.
According to sociological surveys conducted in Western countries, it is evident that their citizens are simply "fed up" with the Ukrainian crisis: only few people believe in the possibility of defeating Russia and few of them approve of providing enormous financial aid to the Zelensky "gang," Naryshkin commented, adding that no one understands why the population of Western countries should make sacrifices for Kiev.
To persuade them of the opposite, Western leaders resort to the most common tactic of making them believe they are at risk of aggression from Russia, he explained.
