Telangana state chief Revanth Reddy said on Wednesday that his government would set up a help desk for youths in the USA and other countries to ensure their safety and requirements.Ali was attacked on February 5 and his video seeking help went viral on Tuesday.In a separate incident, 23-year-old Sameer Kamath, an Indian-American Purdue University student, was found dead in the woods at the Niches Land Trust on Monday evening.Another Indian-origin student, Neel Acharya, studying at Purdue University, was found dead on campus ground.Last week, 19-year-old Shreyas Reddy was found dead in Ohio, while on January 20, 18-year-old Indian origined Akul Dhawan was killed outside the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). Vivek Saini, another student in Georgia's Lithonia, died on January 16 after a homeless man attacked him.Meanwhile, a day before, two Indian students – G Dinesh (22) from Wanaparthy in Telangana and Nikesh (21) from Srikakulam in Andhra Pradesh – were found dead under suspicious conditions in Connecticut.

Seven Indian-origin students, including four from Telangana, have tragically lost their lives in the US so far this year, highlighting the significant challenges that Indian students face while pursuing education in the US.
Telangana state chief Revanth Reddy said on Wednesday that his government would set up a help desk for youths in the USA and other countries to ensure their safety and requirements.
"Very disconcerted to learn of the attack on Syed Mazhar Ali, a student from
Hyderabad, by four robbers in Chicago. This follows a fatal attack on B. Shreyas Reddy, who was killed in Ohio. I request Hon'ble
External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar to kindly convey our concerns over the safety of our students and citizens living there," he wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
Ali was attacked on February 5 and his video seeking help went viral on Tuesday.
