With 2024 Lok Sabha elections just around the corner, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has stepped up preparations. The party's national president, J.P. Nadda, kicked off the 'Sankalp Patra Sujhav Abhiyan' (suggestion campaign for the formation of the party's manifesto) and also launched the 'Viksit Bharat – Modi ki Guarantee' Rath (a chariot march titled Developed India – Modi's Guarantee) from the party's headquarters in New Delhi.While addressing a large group of party workers, he expressed that prior to 2014, it was difficult to imagine a developed, self-reliant, and Vishwa Mitra (friend of all) India. However, now under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, these dreams are becoming a reality.The video vans flagged off by the BJP chief will go all over the country and amass suggestions from the people regarding their expectations from the government.“We are expecting more than 10 million suggestions by 15 March and then we will make our Sankalp Patra based on those suggestions which will further strengthen the growth of the country after 2024,” Nadda said.The BJP has named its manifesto the Sankalp Patra.He emphasised the importance of ensuring that the aspirations of the people are heard and addressed in every possible manner. And so, under the leadership of Narendra Modi these aspirations will be fulfilled within the next five years, he stressed.Through this campaign, the party aims to highlight the achievements of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government and present Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for a “developed India” to the public in the run-up to the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.According to party functionaries, the raths (chariots) will be equipped with modern facilities and the BJP’s National General Secretary, Sunil Bansal, is overseeing the campaign's coordination.

“Now, India is taking long strides towards being a developed nation,” he further stated adding that the party has decided to make people aware of the Prime Minister's strenuous efforts through video vans in all the Lok Sabha's constituencies across the country.
