It is noted that the Russian armed forces struck at concentrations of personnel and equipment of the 144th infantry, 59th motorized infantry, and 23rd mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the areas of Umanskoe, Netailovo, and Ocheretyno in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).In addition, six counterattacks by assault groups of the 53rd, 61st mechanized, 59th motorized infantry, and 3rd assault brigades of the AFU were repelled in the areas of Severnoe, Pervomaiskoe, and Petrovskoe, as well as two attacks by units of the 24th mechanized and 71st ranger brigades of the AFU in the Leninski and Novobakhmutovka areas.

Russian armed forces have achieved a significant victory in the Avdeyevka direction, liberating the settlement of Lastochkino and thwarting multiple counterattacks and attacks by Ukrainian forces.
"Troops of the Central grouping liberated the settlement of Lastochkino on the Avdeyevka direction and continued to improve their position along the front line," said the summary from the Russian military department.

"The enemy lost up to 410 servicemen, a tank, three infantry fighting vehicles, four armored fighting vehicles, 20 vehicles, and a D-30 howitzer," the Russian Defense Ministry added.
