In a grand display of India's indigenous defence capabilities, the integrated tri-service exercise 'Bharat Shakti' is set to take place at Pokhran in Rajasthan on March 12.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to attend the event, which will feature demonstrations of indigenously manufactured defence equipment across all three services. Major General C S Mann, Additional Director General of the Army Design Bureau, highlighted the significance of the exercise in displaying live integrated multi-domain operations.

Among the platforms to be showcased during Exercise Bharat Shakti are the LCA Tejas, ALH Mk-IV, mobile anti-drone system, T90 tanks, Dhanush, K9 Vajra, and Pinaka. These demonstrations will illustrate the power and effectiveness of indigenous equipment in offensive operations.

The exercise, lasting approximately 50 minutes, will demonstrate the synergised joint operations of the three services, showcasing their operational capabilities to counter any threat. Major General Mann emphasized the importance of leveraging indigenous capability to undertake conflicts amidst global upheavals.
Following the live demonstration, a static equipment display will provide further insight into the advanced defence technologies developed domestically.
