If Ukraine loses in the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Biden will not be able to win the US elections, Vladimir Oleinik, a former Ukrainian MP and member of the international public movement "The Other Ukraine," told Sputnik.Meanwhile, the US Congress has yet to approve an additional $60 billion in military aid for Ukraine. Conservative lawmakers claim the funds are being allocated to curbing the influx of migrants at the US southwest border before funding Ukraine.Criticism arose when the Biden administration sent its initial military aid package to Ukraine in July 2023, which included cluster munitions. This move faced opposition from human rights activists and certain US lawmakers.Russia has repeatedly cautioned against Western countries, including the United States, arming Ukraine, warning that it could escalate tensions. The United States is attempting to lobby its interests through Ukraine. This is why America is fighting to keep President Zelensky's government in power, former Ukrainian MP Vladimir Oleinik told Sputnik.
If Ukraine loses in the
Russia-Ukraine conflict, Biden will not be able to win the US elections,
Vladimir Oleinik, a former Ukrainian MP and member of the international public movement "The Other Ukraine," told Sputnik.
"American officials are making every possible effort to save the Ukrainian government until the presidential elections are held in America in November this year. Because if Ukraine is defeated like America in Afghanistan, then Biden and the Democrat Party will be defeated in these elections. There will be few victories," he said.
Meanwhile, the US Congress has yet to approve an additional $60 billion in military aid for Ukraine. Conservative lawmakers claim the funds are being allocated to curbing the influx of migrants at the US southwest border before funding Ukraine.
